Mandates

A specific example of the scope of work undertaken by Benefit Partners includes the creation, implementation and ongoing management of the Consulting Engineers of Ontario (CEO) benefit program. We provide service to over 70 consulting engineering firms in the province of Ontario. Given the tremendous pressures on engineering firms to recruit and retain highly skilled employees, our work in this area has involved developing benefit plans that are highly sophisticated and an integral part of an employee's total compensation program.  In addition, we work with the employees to help them better understand the value of these plans.

Benefit Partners has also been responsible for designing, marketing, and managing a very unique collective purchasing plan for employee benefits on behalf of The Employers Co-operative (TEC).  The plan provides a highly competitive value proposition for the employee benefits plans of small to medium sized companies in Canada and it has many member companies enrolled.

In January of 2008, Benefit Partners added two new associations, the Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA), and the Consulting Engineers of British Columbia (CEBC), to its already significant association mandates. Accordingly it has introduced two new benefit programs designed to produce benefit plan cost savings for companies within these associations. The addition of these two prestigious mandates to our current client engagements is evidence of the compelling value proposition that Benefit Partners presents to companies in the employee benefits marketplace. Benefit Partners has been extremely effective in responding to the specific needs of our clients in light of the escalating costs of providing employee benefits during a time of fiscal restraint and corporate restructuring. This has resulted in the development of individualized benefit plans designed to deal with the unique situations presented by each of our clients. We have successfully arrived at extremely positive client-consultant relationships because of our ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, third party administrators and all stakeholders. The fact that our clients retain our services as their consultants year after year is something that we take great pride in.
